My favorite are as follows

Nectar Card - really helpful on getting those extra points with having to remember to have vouchers at the cashier.

Argos - Very useful for ordering things for my father to then pick up in my home town.

Cross Country Trains - Very good app for finding out if a train is delayed and where on the line it is delayed at

Vintage Inns - Really handy for finding a decent pub in a new area

Bike Apps - Bike Hub, Map My Ride, Every Trail

I assume these are SmartPhone apps ?

Haven't got, or interested, in one of those just yet, my trusty Nokia 6300 still giving sterling service :)

Whatsapp!!!!!
Fantastic for sending pix, docs and sound files lightning fast and totally free of charge.

PicSayPro .. brilliant photo effects program

Crossword solver (don't normally need it, but there just in case)

AccuWeather (not as good as Moley though)

BBC News

Various clocks

Youtube

eBay

Flashlight

I like Whatsapp too - I have unlimited texts on my contract but pictures cost me a fortune to send so Whatsapp is brilliant for that.

I'll have a look for the crossword solver - I never thought of using the phone to help me with crosswords :D

There are loads to choose from.

Whatsapp's amazing... it's even easier to send pix and music files between 2 phones using whatsapp than it is using Bluetooth.

I use it on my HTC Wildfire and my son uses it on his iphone - not sure about i-pads

Perhaps not suprisingly I have several weather related apps. ( Android )

Accu Weather / The Weather Channel / Rainfall Radar / sat24.com / Met Office ( Dissapointingly this has proved to be my worst weather app )

Then....in no particular order

Google Sky ( this is brilliant for anyone who has even the slightest interest in stargazing ) / Simple Moon Phase / Google Earth / Maps / Voice Search / Sound Hound ( similar to Shazam ) / Buildings / Convertor Pad / Locations / Trip Advisor / Dictionary / Barcode Scanner / Food Hygiene ( very useful if you eat out a lot or like take-aways ) / Compass / Bubble ( its a spirit level ) / Several camera apps / BBC News / The Guardian / Daily Mail / Sky Sports News / Sky Sports Score Centre / Flashlight / Skype / Facebook / Gmail / Calendar / You Tube/ Battery Doctor / Yell.com / Wi-Fi Finder /

And most importantly....AVG Antivirus.

All of the above are free apps, and while I tend to use just 5 or 6 of them regularly, they have all proved useful at some time or another. I have quite a few others stored as widgets, but not on my main screens. Not that I really understand the difference between an App and a Widget !!

I have AVG antivirus too - that was the first app I downloaded when I got my phone.
