When my dad was unwell recently, it was because an infection had messed up his vestibular canal, which takes messages to the brain from the labyrinth.

There is one of these pieces of equipment behind each ear.

The labyrinths are a system of tubes at right angles to each other, containing liquid which passes over sensors. They are what tells the brain precisely what angle the head is pointing at and keep us in balance and knowing what way up we are and how fast we're we're accelerating in any direction. You need tubes at right-angles to get full 3D data about movement.

It's because of these that, for example, when we tilt our heads it doesn't appear as if the world has moved.

When one of dad's got messed up, he felt as if the world had tipped up and was spinning. He was convinced of it, and was holding on for dear life to a sink for one hour until paramedics managed to prize him away.

Now: tell me these labyrinths evolved. Sorry mate..... that's beyond all reason and requires the suspense of all logic. That requires belief in the totally impossible. Accepting the clear, incontrovertible evidence of design is the logical response.

so your arguement is its a design fault, so why has every body not got it then other than your dad. ;) ;)

No one said the design was faulty; in fact as an Engineer I wish I could design a 3D sensor as small and precise !
The fault is probably due to old age, been there and had that, but again, to design a self correcting system that has worked for over 70 yrs with no maintenance
, wow ?

VERY true!
Complex design is profound evidence of intelligence, creativity and planning. A design that contains complex self-healing properties is just mind-blowing.

It is what is called evolution, good designs dont need improving, bit like cross breeding to get the best of both. ;) ;)

That's just not true, the greatest lie of our age. It just doesn't happen and has never happened, and there is NOT ONE SCRAP OF EVIDENCE IN EXISTENCE ANYWHERE that ANY living creature has ever 'redesigned' itself or changed over time to suit its environment.

Darwin and the Galapogos Islands. The finches beaks changed over the generations, natural selection ? when they migrated to different islands with different food sources !

Darwin was completely wrong about his finches. Articles about that fall into two categories. Those saying although he was wrong about that and so much else, his theory is still true. And those saying the fact he was wrong about that and so much else shows he was a naive fool and people should stop listening to his absurd discredited flights of fancy.

I have known lots of family members over my lifetime. Although many of them lived long lives, 80s and 90s; not one of them lived long enough to redesign themselves. The only observable changes have been, they all grew older, more frail, and less able bodied. None have managed to redesign themselves; and unless I can manage to redesign myself fairly quickly (and too late to pass on any benefits to the next generation), the death rate looks like it is going be extremely close to 100%.

All family members I have known who have died, procreated in their twenties and thirties. Which suggests that in order for any 'redesign' to be passed on to the next generation, it had to have occurred by the age of twenty or so. But I see the same ageing and degenerative effects taking place in the generations. And I am fortunate enough to have known six successive generations in the family. So I conclude the 'living thing' isn't redesigning itself.
