They walk down the centre of the road, show no fear, a six foot fence, no problem! they leave little smelly gifts on the lawn, dig holes in the flower beds digging up bulbs, and what with the Squirrels, lending a hand I dont know how I ever found time to go to work.  :o

Last week one was sitting opposite our house on the pavement and screeching (couldn't call it barking). He woke me in the early hours. I tapped on the window, he looked up and saw me and walked off up the road.

Jim, you're right - they show no fear and we have more of them now than we've ever had before. I've woken to find them going through our black bags (we have to put the bags out for collection around 7 a.m) I've shouted at them and they just carry on scavenging. Chucking water at them helps a bit but then they come back. They drive me crazy.

I have mixed feelings here - I think they're lovely and admire them living among us but get really cross with them on a Friday morning when I have to clear the rubbish up in my front garden before I go to work

 :D

I have them down as a health hazzard, flea ridden scavangers, that mess on my lawn. dig flower beds. and in short a health risk we should not have to take. :o :( ;)

You should try living in the same area as skunks and racoons. Then you would have something to complain about.

The Borough of Hillingdon is actually really good for wildlife. You have a huge amount of woodland.

I think if Jim had a 12 bore it would be aimed at Traffic Wardens

Wardens are OK once they learn the rules of engagement. trouble here is they are still learning, or they try in on, and see what they can get away with, a bit like some of these camera operatives in Sainsbury's car park. ;) ;)

we had a Muntjac in our back garden in Yeading. Sadly it had a broken leg and the RSPCA had to shoot it. very sad.

me and my partner walk over the fields by Warley and Greenway. There is loads of animals over there. Squirrels, Crows, Finches, Ducks, Swans, Geese, lots of Parrotts, mice.

For a big patch of green in not the best of places its quite enjoyable walking around there. we noticed they have cut loads of bits out besides Yeading Brook. Its a shame they cant build a lake there and some seating. would be nice.
