Does anyone have a problem with wood pigeons woop wooing first thing in the morning?

We sleep in the loft and it's really loud especially on this weather when the window is open

There's your problem, humans live in houses etc. pigeons live in lofts.

I can hear a wood pigeon right now as I'm typing this but I don't mind its noise so much as the dogs across the road that are let out into the garden around 4.30 a.m. and their barking wakes me up

There is nothing more grinding on your nerves as a relentless barking dog, I feel your pain

We bought a new bird table at the weekend and the garden birds seem to like it. They can now shelter while they munch their food instead of getting soaking wet.

Mr and Mrs Robin were the first visitors, then the blue tits, starlings and finally pigeons. None of the others have been near it yet but I suppose once they get used to it they'll use it.

we don't get many birds round here. We used to get magpies but they leave us alone now.

No goldfinches and I don't know what house martins look like. I only ever see sparrows, blackbirds, starlings, bluetits, robins and pigeons.

did you go out Iver way? We have so many foxes round here in Cowley that we never see wild rabbits apart from at Little Britain

The baby starlings are starting to get on my nerves now. they are bullies and scare away the robins, blue tits, sparrows etc. (the prettier birds)
