I'm glad that Marian has been able to make alternative arrangements for her Mellow Lane talk, which will be fascinating to hear. For me it'll be a trip down memory lane, so I hope to be there. I hope that there may be more ex-ML folk reading this notice and will be there too. |

Ideal venue! Well done, hope it's a success. I remember taking part in a round of a quiz there when I was in the Queen's Hall 6th Hillingdon Junior BB. We must have won, because I recall going to another round somewhere else (I haven't a clue where) and know that we were knocked out. |

Thankyou, Davrob. It will be really nice if anyone connected with Mellow Lane comes along but anyone is welcome who may want to spend a Saturday afternoon in a more unusual way.

Thankyou to Jon, too. It will be like being on home-ground there in that area. I also have memories of being in that hall many years ago but not for a quiz. Shame you were not the winners and were knocked out. (Not literally). |

I'm looking forward to this event on Saturday and I hope there will be enough people there to make it an enjoyable occcasion. The Mellow Lane Choir carried the name of Hayes around this country and even abroad, and Marian's talk will I'm sure cover a lot of ground. |
