This is the arrangement of Steal Away by Brian Trant. We were proud to sing it when belonging to the Mellow Lane/Hayes Girls Choir. Brian, as Musical Director, arranged quite a few Spirituals for Ladies voices among other works by different composers. It was nice to find on Youtube a performance in Ireland by the Fermanagh Choral and brought back many happy memories of when we sang it, sometimes at the Queens Hall in Hayes. http://youtu.be/PIqbb9N1W68 |
