It is amazing to realize that someone who has had an operation which leaves the brain impaired can still recollect knowledge of composers and their works. To someone who has taken such an interest in the subject, it is a comfort to know that something so much enjoyed need not have been completely obliterated. Headphones, CD's and music magazines, even old cassettes are helpful therapy and I am glad I have been able to unearth them for such a good cause.
