Kremmen, I hope you're wrong.

We have been so lucky with the nice weather this week as we have had holes in the house (they're replacing the front door as I type this)

I hope the weekend is good for all those people who have had to work during this recent warm, dry spell.

:D

Replacing the front door - what bricking it up so you can't get out and overspend on the shopping

We are just coming to the end of having a new bathroom and en suite fitted, and although the guys were brilliant, I was permanently freezing as they had the front door open most of the time every day for 2 weeks to go in and out of the garage etc. They must have thought I was mad walking round with a big jumper on and shutting myself in the kitchen!

Good evening/morning all, and I trust you are all enjoying your Bank Holiday Weekend, it depends where you are though.

Earlier today (Saturday) an impressive thunderstorm rattled its way just north of the m25. I could hear it rumbling away from here, and was tempted to chase it. I chose instead to spend some quality time with my Son and Grandaughter in the delightful surroundings of Windsor. I haven't been there for years.

Anyway......enough of that, its the rest of the weekend for London and The South East you want to hear about. Its looking quite good for those of us inland and in the London area, not so good for the South Coast. Saturday saw a good deal of sunshine and temperatures reaching 18-19c (64-66f ) in London. On the South Coast most reports were 8-9c ( 48-49f ) with frequent rain/drizzle. Oh dear.

The rest of the this weekend looks quite promising for London. Temperatures could well reach 20-21c ( 68-70F) by Sunday, and 21c-24c ( 70f-75f ) by Tuesday. Beyond that it looks like a thundery breakdown, and a return to unsettled weather.

Moley 8-)

Good evening all, and I hope you enjoyed the Bank Holiday Weekend. The weather was fair to most of us in London and The South East with a decent amount of sunshine and temperatures reaching 21-23c ( 70-73f ) in places.

The South Coast was not so lucky though apparently, with low cloud, fog and sea mist pegging maximum temperatures as low as 9-11C ( 48-52f ) in places. Perhaps my friends down that way can confirm the reports I read from elsewhere ?

This evening much of London is bathed in warm sunshine and blue skies, but unfortunately thats all about to change, as an area of Low Pressure heads in from the west. Believe it not I hate being the harbinger of doom when it comes to weather predictions. I can only predict what the models are showing, and it doesn't look too good for the foreseeable future.

Currently they are showing a return to much cooler conditions ( 11-14c ...52-57f ) for the next few days at least, and an unsettled spell of weather.
