......... Temps of around 6-8c for us I think. Monday could see more of the same, before milder weather returns towards the middle of the week.

There is a hint that temperatures may reach 15-16c ( 60f ) by next weekend, but Im hedging my bets on that for now.

Moley :(

Oh me of little faith. The tentative signs were there when I posted this 6 days ago on Friday 17th February, I should have stuck with that. Personal circumstances meant I just haven't been able to keep up to date with the twists and turns of the weather, but I can confirm that many stations in East Anglia, London and the South East are currently reporting temperatures of 16-18 c ( 61- 64f ).

First signs of Spring perhaps ?. Probably not as temperatures look ready to fall again by the weekend. I will try and update later though.

Just a very brief update from me for now.

Well it has been a pleasant few days in much of London and the South East, Saturday in particular saw wall to wall sunshine for many of us, very nice indeed.

The beginning of the week will see more in the way of cloud, with a chance of light rain or drizzle, but still fairly mild. temperatures around 11-13c ( 52-55F ). By midweek we should be seeing clearer skies and the thermometer responding with temperatures perhaps reaching 15-18c ( 59-64f ) by Thursday.

I hope so....this Thursday is the day of my Fathers funeral. I hope I can bring some sunshine to that day.

Moley

^^ Thank you Pam. My weather reports and predictions have taken a back seat for now. I hope to return soon, but in the meantime everyone is more than welcome to post their own thoughts, observations and predictions. Please do.

The sun shone on Our Family that day, just as I hoped for. 8-).

Its all still a bit too early for me to concentrate on predictions/forecasts in any detail just yet, but I will just mention the increasing possibility of some very unsettled weather for London and The South East later this weekend. Sunday/Monday could well see some very welcome rainfall in regions which most need it.

It looks like becoming colder for a short while as well.

More details to follow as and when I can, but thanks as always for posting and reading. Moley :)

In the meantime severe storms are affecting parts of the USA. Once I get my act together I will be following developments there. I'll open up a different thread for that if its ok with the moderators ?

We are having ridiculous weather this weekend in the US, many killed in the midwest, God hates trailer parks. We in the south have raised houses because of hurricanes and flooding, why they don't enough basements I don't understand, might be hard to dig a basement under a trailer home, my holiday home in Florida near Pensacola is taking a beating at this minute, will be going there this weekend hope it's still there.
