Went to Uxbridge yesterday via a convoluted route, just to be different. Left home at 08:20 and noticed that the Hayes By Pass was clear heading north. White Hart was a breeze and the road to the Polish was also almost empty. Later on I noticed on my Inrix traffic app that the Hayes By Pass, northbound again, that is normally a car park at 17:00 on, was clear. Can this be mostly due to child school taxis that are not in action now? |

The roads empty as soon as the schools break up but I don't think it's all down to the school run. I thonk it's because thousands of people have gone on holiday. |

Friday was the opposite, according to my traffic app. The rain caused very heavy traffic with most roads showing dark red on the Inrix app. |
