This was an utter disgrace, life should mean life for these characters when they're caught.

Wasn't this something like 5 in the afternoon so someone must have seen it and CCTV should be able to track these morons?

Arrested 2 17 year olds.

Why do they do it ? I'll bet they tracked them on CCTV, that's the usual.

I totally agree. If there was a proper deterrent these youth would think twice.

If capital punishment acted as a true crime preventative measure, how come there are so many murders in places where the murderer can face the death penalty? For instance, just in the city of Houston, Texas (where capital punishment is still legal) there were a total of 217 murders during 2012 (with a population of 2.1 million)

I accept that with the guns issue in the US, its not as easy to compare London with Houston, but it is clear that the threat of capital punishment simply does not work as a deterrent
