I am with Geezer446 on this one. When he was released, I asked my dad who he really was, despite seeing all the music based news at the time! My dad said that he could tell me as much as the news wanted to report about him, the best person to ask was a South African. Now many years on,I asked a few black and white S.Africans and the message was the same in summary, 'The last terrorist to get so much media was Saddam, may they rest together, shame Zuma couldn't be with them!' It just proves once again that you cannot believe all that you read or shown in the media.

Good to see Cameron, Obama and some Danish bint having such a great time at the funeral....

All that poring out of grief last week and now this...........

Image

Edit to add.. The blonde lady is the Danish PM who apparently married into the Kinnock family....

Therefore her chavish behaviour is both easily explained and partly excused!!

^^^ It wasn't the funeral Gezer466, it was the memorial service but an unedifying image all the same. As can be seen in that photo Mrs Obama was apparently far from impressed with their behaviour.

That's the sort of behaviour you might expect from a group of students in rag week, not so called 'world leaders' at a state held memorial service. The Danish leader married one of Kinnocks sons I believe.

Tacky

Unbelievable..... turns out the bloke doing the signing for the deaf, standing next to each of the world leaders as they addressed billions on global TV, was a fraud, just waving his hands around!!!!

It turns out that he was having some kind of mental health episode and was seeing angels landing.

I feel guilty as suffering a serious mental health problems is far from funny, but I cant help enjoying a little lightness in all the boring over the top & 24/7 Mandela mania nonsense

No Jim, I have to disagree. I have heard this cliche so many times, and it's often used to justify or reduce the wrongdoing of criminal acts. Anyone who unlawfully kills another in the name of some kind of ideology is a terrorist, however 'worthy' their cause is
