We left Hayes before the prime minister was born because of this, I guess everything takes time.

Good grief. The prime minister is 'shocked and aghast' at the squalid conditions that some folk are enduring in this so called multi-cultural paradise that is London and the UK. I thought the whole point of opening the floodgates to mass immigration was just what the politicians wanted and keep banging on about ?

After all it's good for business surely ? Drive down wages, increase profits and voila, we have an economic recovery.......for the priveledged few who haven't actually suffered one jot. In the meantime whilst we are flooding the market with immigrant workers, jobs are being outsourced in far flung places.

I'm suprised that Cameron even managed to find Southall. It's 12.37 miles from Westminster. Heaven forbid he should try and discover any other outlying settlements in the UK.

The problems in our borough and surrounding boroughs have been blatantly obvious for years, but we dare not speak out for fear of being branded as racist. A very sad state of affairs.

.

To be fair, he did attend an evening meeting in a Southall School during a pre election campaign. I remember his motorcade tearing through the Broadway with sirens and motorbike outriders so fast, he was a blurr (so we must have been a blurr to him as well) :)

It's nice to see he managed to stop and have a look at some of the third world conditions in that area. But it's got nothing to do with him getting in touch with the public. This visit and his recent 'get tough' stance on immigrants, is all to do with a PR campaign to appease public hostility against the mass immigration from east Europe in a couple of weeks

He will do nothing about it, can't be seen to go against voters.

It's all about trying to neutralise UKIP before the Euro elections.
