The one thing that keeps cropping up is 'this hasn't happened for the last 60 years, or 100 years, or whenever.

The underlying statement is that it has happened before and will happen again. it's nature. The flooding is worse now because we are building on flood plains.

Apparently London suffered fatal flooding in 1953 so not a new thing via recent climate wrecking issues.

On the Cashless Society thread Jon mentions that the Bible foretells of a cashless society, which will appear in the Last Days. The Bible also prophecies that the coming cashless society will form part of the globalist elite's centrally controlled dictatorship under the rule of the Antichrist during a period the Bible refers to as the “Great Tribulation”, and “The time of Jacob's trouble” (Jacob being Israel - Ever wondered why Israel dominates world news?). The Biblical signs given for those times are now almost all in place. The systems the Antichrist will need to operate his government are either in place, or being installed - including a cashless society. The timing of events is all in God's hands, only He knows the hour and the day. But He has given us the signs by which we can recognise the time is approaching.

The government quango, Natural England, announced about 5 or 6 years ago that they would be allow many of our coastal defences to rot and fall into the sea because "rising sea levels" would mean there would be no point in maintaing them.

This of course then means than coastal erosion will increase and there will be more coastal flooding, which - although the sea hasn't risen - will be blamed on "climate change".

There is something pretty evil going on.

I actually heard some idiot official earnestly telling Channel Four news, unchallenged, the other night that the huge tides whipped up by the wind were evidence of the damage of "rising sea levels".

There has been no rise in our sea levels..... (the claim anyway is that they've risen by 2mm!!!!!!!!!! As if that could be measured!!!!)
