Leaving the UK!!! Whatever next, we can't stand idly by and just let this happen, we need tougher controls .... I'm glad they were brought back to the UK, let France find its own illegal immigrants! Perhaps we should make our benefits system more attractive then these people won't want to leave, give them free houses, a free car and say £500pw plus free medical care and education, oh and if they promise to stay perhaps we could also give them a free 2-week holiday all expenses paid.

Radical benefit and tax credit reform and the movement of the benefit system to contributions based rather than needs based would stop all this at the stroke of a hat.

Trouble is we would all have to endure the civil strife and public anger, riots ect to be able to achieve than and I think no government has the will to do it. Many home grown Brits have come to accept living on benefits as a way of life.

Only a big upset in the capital markets can solve this now something on the scale of 2007/8 and the RBS, Lloyds collapse ect. The Government has used all the magic bullets to get the Country of of jail and it won't be able to do to again.

Europe as a whole is not cohesive is its administration of illegal immigrants and once inside the EU, they will gravitate to Germany, Scandinavia and of course the UK. Administration should be able to find out where these aliens arrived into the EU is found inside, on or under a vehicle by checking the route into the EU, but asking the weakest link in Greece and neighbours of Turkey to do this will always fall on deaf ears. This is the reason why I think the UK should at least suspend it's membership of the EU and concentrate in the people already in the UK and make our country better for all.....perhaps then we could consider re-joining

Illegal immigrants are a lot less of a strain on the economy than people think. They are just a scapegoat for people's discontent with their own lives. Cutting outselves off from the world won't help that. And if we leave the EU, they will not take up back for generations.

Considering the hell some of these illegal immigrants come from, the fact that where trying to leave the UK is a pretty damning statement on us.

The EU's days are numbered. The single currency does not work and there is a huge imbalance between the nations of the north and those along the Med. Until such time as credit transfer can occur between individual nations (as per the federal system in the US with stronger states propping up the weaker) then it simply won't work.

Add into that the fact they are continuing to pi$$ off Putin with the expansionist agenda to the East and it may be a European war which brings the whole lot crashing down.

I don't think so, 'They' will do whatever it takes, no matter what pain & suffering it causes, to keep the EU intact. 'They' have invested too much in this project for it to fail.

The EU is becoming more fascist by the day and its continuing plans to extend its borders & membership and have an EU military force could possibly lead to violent mini-wars, or even the start of WW3.
The EU calls itself 'democratic' in Orwellian-speak but the it couldn't be much further from the truth. If it doesn't get the referendum results it wants it demands new new ones until the electorate produce the 'right' result. The EU Commision is not even elected and refuses to publish its agenda/minutes. The EU accounst haven't be signed off a 'accurate & truthful' for nearly 15 years! Recently it orchestrated the overthrow of the democratically elected President of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, because he refused to sign an EU agreement and was considering signing one with Russia - so its plain to see that this fascist body the EU will do what it takes to get its own way even if it starts a war!
