The 'Island / Dover'' mentality is nonsense when you think about the amount of planes landing and taking off from all over the U.K every day.

You do often wonder where on earth they find audiences for TV and radio progs where political issues are debated. You can always guarantee they generally enthusiastically clap what the vast majority of the public would boo and vice versa.

They vet the audience from the 'tone of the questions' asked. From what I have heard even if you are invited to attend your question is subject to editorial advantage.

The BBC is a naturally left leaning organisation. They advertise almost exclusively in the Guardian so the managers and execs are going to be persons of that 'opinion'.

It doesn't take a genius to work out that QT audiences are mainly left of centre. Yes others get on but they are very much in the minority...

All fair enough you might think until it dawns that they tax you £145 a year to watch this claptrap.

This will interest some.

The BBC middle east coverage particularly anything concerning Israel is always biased.
