Reading through that list and translating the effect towards Britain maybe it is pointing towards another explanation as to the wind of change blowing through the British Political landscape...
In effect more and more people every day are becoming self aware.
#1 The level of trust in the U.S. news media is at an all-time low.
#5 Americans are increasingly turning to Facebook and other Internet sources for their news.
#6 Over the past year or so the big three cable news networks have lost an unprecedented number of viewers.
#8 Newspaper ad revenues are about a third of what they were back in the year 2000.
#9 News magazines are also experiencing a dramatic multi-year decline in ad revenues.
Social media is having and will continue to have a profound effect on UK politics.
There is still a long way to go but more people are starting the question the bias of the BBC over European matters and casting certain child abuse reporting in a certain light when it was bloody obvious what they were not saying.
Later it became quite obvious as to why they were trying to control the way the news was coached when it eventually emerged it was all down to political correctness.
Less people than ever trust the BBC or the Murdoch press.
I think the public are increasingly seeing some serious faults in the MSM; and the BBC in particular. Faults that are clearly linked to the highly dangerous freedom-destroying political correctness, globalisation, and social engineering emanating from all three parts of the LibLabCon.
Some of the public are turning to alternative media for their news sources; sources that are relatively free from political interference. Others are relying on social media, such as Facebook and chat forums to gather news and opinions. I suspect that a very large majority of the public are simply refusing to acknowledge what is going on and are burying their heads in family life and entertainment in the vain hope that things can't possibly be as bad as they appear to be.
And it is getting worse. Now the Con' Party's is planning
Extremism Disruption Orders (EDOs) that are intended to close down free speech on any media that isn't part of the politically controlled main-stream-media. Anybody who dares to express an opinion that isn't politically correct will be subject to an EDO. How bad do things have to get before the vast majority wake up and see what is happening? And if the Con' Party are planning EDOs then we can be certain that the LibLab part of the LibLabCon are also planning something similar.
What are EDOs?

The home secretary’s manifesto plan to silence extremists by banning their access to the web and television is cast far wider than the Islamist “preachers of hate” of tabloid headlines. As David Cameron pointed out, the Conservatives now want to look at the “full spectrum of extremism” and not just the “hard end” of that spectrum that counter-terrorism policy has focused on up to now.
The difference is spelled out in the detail of the policy, where it says that it is intended to catch not just those who “spread or incite hatred” on grounds of gender, race or religion but also those who undertake “harmful activities” for the “purpose of overthrowing democracy”.

So what would an “extremism disruption order” involve? The police will be able to apply to the high court for an order to restrict the “harmful activities” of an extremist individual. The definition of harmful is to include a risk of public disorder or even a risk of harassment, alarm or distress or the vague-sounding “threat to the functioning of democracy”. These are very low thresholds. The restrictions would include a ban on broadcasting and a requirement to submit to the police in advance any proposed publication on the web, social media or in print.

Simon Calvert, Deputy Director of the Christian Institute, said traditionalist evangelicals who criticise gay marriage or even argue that all religions are not the same could find themselves accused of extremism.
“Anyone who expresses an opinion that isn’t regarded as totally compliant with the Equality Act could find themselves ranked alongside Anjem Choudary, Islamic state or Boko Haram,” he said.
He added: “How many times a day do intellectually lazy political activists accuse their opponents of ‘spreading hatred’?
“The left does it, the right does it, liberals do it, conservatives do it, it is routine.
“Hand a judge a file of a thousand Twitter postings accusing this atheist or that evangelical of ‘spreading hatred’ and they could easily rule that an EDO is needed.
“It’s a crazy idea – the Conservatives need to drop this like a hot brick.”
We should now be able to see that “HATE SPEECH” has been politically constructed in order to close down 'free speech' and free thinking.
The big question is: Where is what we are seeing going on in this world leading to? Can we realistically see any hope of improvement in the way this world is governed?
