Had this email from Hillingdon which may interest others...

The council is keen to involve residents in developing the Flood Risk Management Strategy for the borough so we can identify priorities for the council and other bodies such as Thames Water and the Environment Agency.

If you would like to help us do this we would be grateful if you could spare a few minutes of your time to fill in our Flood Risk Management survey which you can access by clicking on the following link:

http://goo.gl/forms/liAL3A3gw1

Feel free to share the link to the survey with others who may be interested.

Please respond by Monday 7 December in order to influence the strategy, however the survey will remain online after this date if you wish to share additional information you think the council will find useful.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Please note you are asked in this survey whether you are happy for the council to contact you again to discuss flooding issues. Any information you provide will only be used internally within the council to inform the future flood risk strategy and no specific details will be published.

There will be a formal consultation on the Flood Risk Management Strategy once it has been drafted to which there will also be an opportunity to comment.

If you have any questions regarding the survey please contact the Flood and Water Management Officer at flooding@hillingdon.gov.uk
