Pub Name

Can anyone tell me the previous name of 'The Grange' pub on the corner of Botwell Lane & Wood End Green Road? It's driving me mad!

Maybe the Kings Head. Seem to remember a large sign with an oak tree and a perigree wigged head sticking out.

I think you're nearly right GMR! It triggered my memory! Could it have been 'The Queen's Head?' (I might be wrong of course!)

It was the Queens Head, then the Grange.............Jim

Didn't they change 'The Grapes' name to 'The Grange' for a while? And has it now gone back to being 'The Grapes'?

I always think of it as the Queen's Head!! When did it change its name then?
