The mother of murdered teenager Stephen Lawrence has said that John Terry's comments towards Anton Ferdinand were racist, despite the player being cleared of any crime.
The England defender Terry was cleared of a racially aggravated public order offence at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Friday.
Whilst I have a lot of respect and sympathy for Mrs Lawrence and the long struggle she had to get justice this does not allow her freedom to use her position to contradict just verdicts of the Courts of this land....
After all it was that same justice which convicted two of her sons killers and sent them down for life.
The lady does herself a dis service in trying to play the race card in this way....
