At least we can all sleep a little easier tonight in the knowledge that ' Kate is getting better ' and in the hands of ' Top Doctors '.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... -baby.htmlI don't know whether to laugh or cry quite frankly.
Well actually I do. I will cry for the elderly and vulnerable folk in our society who have been treated to apalling abuse and neglect in our hospitals and so called care homes, the very places they should have been able to look to for a decent level of treatment, respect and dignity.
I will cry at the fact childrens wards are being closed down, A & E Departments are being slashed to the bone, and more closures are in the pipeline. I will cry at the fact that genuine benefits for folk in genuine need are being axed, whilst multi national companies are legally taking advantage of tax loopholes, and paying nothing into our economy, whilst paying their workers less than a living wage. Many of those same workers are then having to jump through hoops to try and claim tax credits.
Why on earth should the UK taxpayer be expected to subsidise the wages of companies making millions of £'s in profit per annum ? Some of the major supermarket chains fall into that category, Tesco being one of them. They are not alone.
In other news, while this country goes to hell in a handcart, a princess gets pregnant and doesn't feel well. Oh bless. Thats an insult to every woman who has ever borne the gift that is a child.
