How much longer is Kate's pregnancy going to be the number 1 news item ?

She's pregnant (so are many others)
She's got morning sickness (so have many others)
She's admitted to hospital (the others would get laughed at if they asked)

All the turmoil in the world and this gets to No1

Still, they can use some of the £26M they saved this week to pay for her !

I could not agree more, though I very much doubt Kate is going the NHS route. In other news Her Majesty The Queen has apparently advertised for a gardener at Buck Palace on the not so Princely wage of £300 a week.

There will be perks with that job Moley.. Often they get grace and favour apartments close by and get to travel with the Royals around the estates and sometimes abroad.

Used to see some jobs at the palace come up occasionally at the Royal Palaces on the MOD internal job lists, (probably an intranet now). They were usually very highly sought after.

Let's hope the baby doesn't pop out Ginger, as that might take some explaining Kate

Harry is a bit of a lad you know, so was his dad, James Hewitt

Only joking - I wish em well, and some considerable luck as this kiddie is gunna be run ragged by the media, especially if it's a girl

At least we can all sleep a little easier tonight in the knowledge that ' Kate is getting better ' and in the hands of ' Top Doctors '.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... -baby.html

I don't know whether to laugh or cry quite frankly.

Well actually I do. I will cry for the elderly and vulnerable folk in our society who have been treated to apalling abuse and neglect in our hospitals and so called care homes, the very places they should have been able to look to for a decent level of treatment, respect and dignity.

I will cry at the fact childrens wards are being closed down, A & E Departments are being slashed to the bone, and more closures are in the pipeline. I will cry at the fact that genuine benefits for folk in genuine need are being axed, whilst multi national companies are legally taking advantage of tax loopholes, and paying nothing into our economy, whilst paying their workers less than a living wage. Many of those same workers are then having to jump through hoops to try and claim tax credits.

Why on earth should the UK taxpayer be expected to subsidise the wages of companies making millions of £'s in profit per annum ? Some of the major supermarket chains fall into that category, Tesco being one of them. They are not alone.

In other news, while this country goes to hell in a handcart, a princess gets pregnant and doesn't feel well. Oh bless. Thats an insult to every woman who has ever borne the gift that is a child.

Moley

I often thought that but as Harry gets older I can see Charles's eyes showing through.
