The north has had an exceptional cold and long winter, the usual fight between the heat of the south with the cold in the north is now going on, the south will win, I just hope the hurricanes will take a more southern path, we will see.

Its been pretty much the same here in most of Europe this winter and spring for colder than average temperatures Rexy.

The internet is full of theories as to why, but I personally hold the belief that nature balances itself out, regardless of what us mere humans choose to do.

I have noticed that severe storm activity in the American Mid-West has been much lower than usual this year, and that suggests that hurricane activity may well be further south later in the season......Time will tell.

The Gods were angry this morning 50/55 mph winds with heavy rain, they are getting angrier this evening 70/80mph with heavy rain and hail and tornado warnings, followed by another cell tonight.

It's summer now Sunshine......as of June 1st. 8-)

Following on from my earlier post about the storm season being quiet up to that point in the mid-west USA, things took a deadly turn for the worse in late May. :(

I can't say I envy them with that Rexy, though I have experienced 120f ( in Dubai ) it was way too much for me. It likes gradually 'cooling down' during the week in Vegas :

Will the all time highest temperature on earth record be broken during this spell ? Set on July 10th 1913 in Death Valley, California it currently stands at 56.7c ( 134f )
